Jacob Montano

Jacob Montano is a bass player, composer, producer, and videographer based in Denver, CO. In 2024, Jacob graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with bachelor’s degrees in audio production and bass performance. As an engineer at Colorado Sound Studios, Jacob has worked with dozens of local and touring artists, including the Wu-Tang Clan, Doug E Fresh, and the Colorado Symphony. He has recorded, mixed, and mastered over two dozen different Albums, Singles, and EPs, with his work receiving radio play on Colorado stations 102.3, 93.3, and 89.3 KUVO. With a passion for helping artists create professional content, Jacob has also delved into the world of visual storytelling. He has directed and filmed dozens of music videos, live sessions, and documentaries, as well as creating compelling visual design & portrait photography.
  
Beyond his studio endeavors, Jacob is an active performer & composer. Having played at such venues as the Fox Theatre, Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, Globe Hall, and the Marquis Theater, Jacob has a deep connection to the Denver music scene. He’s composed scores for film & TV, as well as releasing several albums as a band leader. You may also find him playing around town with his bands iies. and Ojo de Luna.
