
Don Bearie
Don is a versatile audio engineer with experience across a wide range of genres—from jazz to metal, acoustic to electronic. His passion and drive shine through on every project, and he brings a confident, collaborative energy to the table.
He began his journey studying Music Industry Management at Ferris State University, then continued honing his skills through DubSpot’s online Music Theory and Production programs. In 2016, Don completed his engineering studies at Colorado Sound Media Labs and has been a key part of the Colorado Sound Studios team ever since.
Over the years, Don has worked with an impressive list of clients, including Jody Breeze (Boyz N’ Tha Hood), Eric Gunnison, Neyla Pekarek (formerly of The Lumineers), Lettuce, Sean Lennon, Blocboy JB, DeVotchKa, Crunchyroll and King Princess, among many others. He’s also engineered numerous live gigs for major artists like Halsey, OneRepublic, Portugal. The Man, Glass Animals, 311, Niall Horan, Wu-Tang Clan, RZA, The Colorado Symphony, Gregory Alan Isakov, Mike Love, Yaima and more.
