Kevin Clock

Kevin is a seasoned producer and engineer and owner of Colorado Sound Studios. He has been instrumental in a number of award-winning projects over his lengthy career. Since his start in 1977, he has worked on more than 700 albums and projects for both local and international artists. His recent work includes remote recordings at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater, such as Mumford and Sons “The Road To Red Rocks”, Amos Lee “Live at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony”, and The John Butler Trio “Live at Red Rocks”.

Tom Capek

Tom is an accomplished studio and touring musician and has been a resident composer/producer/mastering engineer at Colorado Sound for over 25 years. He is a credited session keyboardist on hundreds of albums and CDs, and has performed at many jazz festivals across the country. He has mastered hundreds of albums for release.

Tom is well known for his arranging and production work with songwriters, and truly values that collaborative relationship. “There’s nothing like working one on one with songwriters and hear the songs evolve and reach their true potential. It’s one of the true joys of my life to have the opportunity to be a part of that process.”

Steve Avedis

Steve Avedis has been a premier Recording Engineer / Producer in Denver since 1980. Steve has Engineered/Produced for: MCA, Capitol, Columbia, Arista, Sony, and Jive Records to name a few along with numerous independents across the world. Known for his lively, fun sessions, Steve’s personal touch and fresh approach takes projects into the future.

Lynnae Rome

Lynnae is a Colorado native who has been active in the Denver/Boulder music scene as an artist, engineer and music educator since the 1990s. She joined the studio team in 2015 with a considerable background in business management.

Robert “Big Rob” Davis

Just say the name Big Rob, and any music professional within earshot will say “You know Big Rob? He’s a friend of mine. I love that guy!” Robert has been producing and engineering since 2001. He has worked on hundreds of records throughout his career, spanning multiple genres from local to national artists. He has produced or mixed songs for artists such as The Blues Masters ft. Mickey Thomas, Luni Coleone, Marvaless, T-Nutty, Top Flite Empire and many more.

Don Bearie

Don is a versatile audio engineer who’s worked on projects spanning from Jazz to Metal. Whether the song is acoustic or electronic, you can count on his drive and passion to complete your project with confidence.

Breezy Ortega

Breezy is a versatile creative hailing from Colorado with a passion for business and music. She majored in business management and studied audio arts at Full Sail University, learning everything from recording principles to mixing techniques. She has been active in the Nebraska and Colorado music scenes since 2013, both performing live as a vocalist/keyboardist and providing audio assistance at various venues throughout the Midwest and Front Range.

Aidan Roberts

Engineer, producer and musician Aidan Roberts is responsible for the recording, mixing, and/or mastering of over 100 local and out-of-state artists in the Colorado music scene. Despite his love for engineering, he started as a musician, playing piano from the age of five. At the age of thirteen, he picked up his first guitar and found his Mom’s old CD collection, where he soon began learning as many Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and AC/DC songs as possible. Now, he is an accomplished guitarist with a background in R&B, Funk, Soul, Rock, Jazz, Latin, and his own original music. He is currently the guitarist for the Hip-Hop Jazz Fusion band iies., local singer-songwriter Lauren Podjun, and the Latin Jazz group Ojo De Luna. 

Jacob Montano

Jacob Montano is a bass player, composer, producer, and videographer based in Denver, CO. In 2024, Jacob graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with bachelor’s degrees in audio production and bass performance. As an engineer at Colorado Sound Studios, Jacob has worked with dozens of local and touring artists, including the Wu-Tang Clan, Doug E Fresh, and the Colorado Symphony. He has recorded, mixed, and mastered over two dozen different Albums, Singles, and EPs, with his work receiving radio play on Colorado stations 102.3, 93.3, and 89.3 KUVO. With a passion for helping artists create professional content, Jacob has also delved into the world of visual storytelling. He has directed and filmed dozens of music videos, live sessions, and documentaries, as well as creating compelling visual design & portrait photography.
